The holmfield. Standard: Our Core Pillars
Unbiased Independence

We are not tethered to any bank, insurance provider, or investment house. This independence is non-negotiable; it grants us the freedom to scan the entire market and select only the 'best-in-class' solutions that suit your specific journey.
Advice-Led, Not Product-Driven
We believe you should pay for expertise, not for a transaction. By operating a transparent, fee-based model, we ensure our interests are perfectly aligned with yours. Our success is measured by the quality of our counsel and the clarity of your results.
Purposeful Partnerships
To provide a truly holistic service, we don’t try to be everything to everyone. Instead, we have strategically aligned with high-calibre, like-minded organisations to ensure that every technical facet of your wealth is managed by specialists who share our ethical DNA.
Social & Community Impact
We view finance as a tool for broader positive change. Whether it’s supporting local initiatives or helping our clients invest with a conscience, we operate with the belief that growing your wealth and contributing to the greater good are not mutually exclusive.
Our Purpose: Integrity Without Compromise
holmfield. Wealth Management was established with a singular, unwavering focus: to put the client back at the heart of the conversation. Our ambition is not just to be a leading firm, but to become the UK’s most trusted financial planning practice. We pursue this goal with unapologetic ethics and a belief that finance, when managed correctly, is a profound force for good—not just for the individual, but for our communities and wider organisations alike.

A Truly Holistic Perspective
We believe that 'best advice' can only exist in a truly holistic environment. We aren't here to sell products; we are here to provide strategy. Because of this, we operate on a transparent, fee-based model. By charging for our advice rather than relying on product-driven incentives, we remove the "what's in it for me?" factor that has long clouded the industry. This ensures that every recommendation we make is driven solely by your objectives, never by our bottom line.

Independence & Best-in-Class Partnerships
At holmfield., we are not tied to any single provider. This independence is the cornerstone of our practice, allowing us to scour the market and hand-pick 'best-in-class' solutions that align precisely with your needs.
To ensure our clients receive an unparalleled level of service, we have strategically aligned ourselves with like-minded, high-calibre organisations. These partnerships aren't born of convenience; they are carefully selected to ensure that every facet of your financial journey—from investment management to complex protection—is handled by the very best in the field.

Finance as a Force for Good
We don’t view wealth in a vacuum. We understand the ripple effect that sound financial planning has on the world around us. By empowering our clients to reach their goals, we contribute to a more stable, prosperous, and ethical financial landscape. At Holmfield, your success and our integrity are one and the same.
Behind the business

A Personal Note from Dave
Hi, thanks for checking out holmfield.
I started holmfield. Wealth Management because I wanted to build a truly holistic practice.
My goal from day one was and is simple: genuine best outcomes for my clients.
To make that a reality, I made the strategic decision to ensure I wasn’t tied to any single fund manager or investment house. By staying independent, I can access a vast panel of mortgage products and investment solutions, ensuring the advice I give is always driven by your needs, not a corporate quota.
I could talk shop all day long, and I’m sure if we meet, we’ll get into the nuts and bolts of what we offer and whether we are the right firm and I am the right adviser for you. But more importantly, this is a relationship business. So, let me introduce myself.
Life at the Zoo
Outside of work, my life is anchored by my family. I’m a dad, a husband to a very patient wife, and the caretaker of what can only be described as a mini-zoo of animals at home with dogs, cats, a rabbit and some chickens.
Away from the animals, like most guys my age, my golf game is terrible, but it’s a great way to get outdoors and If I’m not on the course for a few hours at the weekend (you're always welcome to join as long as you have the patience of a saint), I can regularly be found at an ungodly hour on a Sunday morning hiking a trail—making sure I’m back in time to enjoy quality time with my daughter.
Giving Back
I’m a firm believer in giving back to the communities we serve, and I encourage others to do the same where they can. Over the last few years, I've spent time raising money for When You Wish Upon A Star a Nottingham based children's charity and the Alzheimer's Society and have also contributed to Cancer Researches London Winter Run, Loros' Run Leicester, The Big Ballsy run in support of Testicular cancer to name a few and you can see more about the charities we're serving on the Charity Page.
I'm a big advocate of supporting men's mental health and always offer an ear and a beer for anybody feeling like they are struggling at the moment as I appreciate reaching out and asking for help is the first and hardest step.

Change can be scary
My career has been reasonably varied, to say the least. In my younger years, I trained as both a plumber and a butcher—roles that taught me the value of hard work and straight talking. I understand first hand how daunting change can be which I've found has helped no end when preparing clients for their retirement. For the last 18 years or so, I’ve focused on client-facing roles typically dealing with their biggest investments, houses, pensions and finances where those "real world" lessons still apply every day.

Over nearly two decades, I’ve helped clients navigate almost every scenario: from retiring early and ethically mitigating tax positions, to supporting a foster family in refinancing their home after a community project enabled them to provide a safe haven for even more children. I've also been around the other side where business have gone through hard times and I've supported clients who are on the verge of repossession through restructuring lifestyle and housing to stay afloat.

So, that’s a little about me. I hope to hear from you soon, and perhaps we can work together to get your financial future exactly where it needs to be.

All the best,

Peace Out x
